NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION FOR REGION 7 DIRECTOR
A Special Election will be held electronically to fill the Regional Director position for Region 7 (Districts 8, 10, and 11). The term begins January 1, 2023 and ends on December 31, 2026. Candidates must be an ACBL member in good standing, a member of a Unit in Region 7, at least 18 years of age and must have an email address.
The Director of Elections (elections@acbl.org) will begin accepting declarations of candidacy by email on October 25, 2022. The email must include your ACBL member number and the Unit to which you belong and be received no later than 5:00 PM CT on November 28, 2022.
If there is no opposition, the candidate will be deemed elected on November 30, 2022. Candidates with opposition who wish to include a biographical summary must email it to the Director of Elections by December 5, 2022. Electronic voting begins December 8 and ends December 22, 2022.
