Luck o’ the Irish, Special Events and Summer
Technically, today is the “Ides of March,” but let’s focus on St. Patrick’s Day! It’s a much luckier day, and it’s less than two days anyway. Get ready to (sham)rock and roll with our latest updates.
Do You Believe in (Hollywood) Magic?
The spring online tournament – Hollywood Magic – spreads over four days a little later this month (March 24-27), and we hope you’ll join us!
The schedule is full of both two-session and single-session events, so there’s something for everyone – including lots of chances for gold points. We’ll also be uploading new videos from celebrity speakers on Thursday, March 24, so be sure to visit the Hollywood Magic page on our website during the event.
Playing Bridge to Support Communities
April is Charity Month! Throughout the month, face-to-face clubs can hold special games that will raise funds for the ACBL Charity Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to awarding grants in each of the ACBL’s districts. Face-to-face clubs will also have chances to hold special games supporting charities in their own community. Oh, and there are upgraded masterpoint awards for players!
In the virtual clubs, there’s Charity Week (April 4-10, Monday to Sunday), and a portion of these table fees will go to the ACBL Charity Foundation, too. Plus, players will win double black points.

TLD is Picking Up Steam…
Many teams are already raising funds forThe Longest Day, and we’re so grateful! If your bridge club doesn’t currently have a fundraising team, think about starting one today. In case you missed our big TLD launch email, click here to see it and learn more about the ways the Alzheimer’s Association can offer support on an individual level.
Along with the Summer NABC…
The Youth NABC and Collegiate Bridge Bowl will also be held during the Summer NABC in Providence this July!
Both events run July 21-23 (Thursday to Saturday) and include pair events, team events and chances for scholarships. It’ll make for the perfect family summer vacay!
Speaking of Youth Bridge and Summer…
The ACBL Educational Foundation is hosting several weeklong virtual bridge camps for youth this summer! Each day has a two-hour session in the morning and afternoon online, and each camp is led by a BridgeWhiz coach.
