An NABC Daily Bulletin series by Brent Manley

I started writing these tips for newer players at the 2012 Fall NABC in San Francisco. I searched the pages of old Bridge Bulletins for funny stories to get readers at the NABCs in the frame of mind to have fun at the game. My goal is to help improve the reader’s bidding, play and judgment – and to reinforce the importance of partnership. I hope the tips are logical and easy to understand. I certainly enjoy the game more when I play better, and I really have fun when my partner and I are clicking at the table. That’s the ultimate in satisfaction, even if we don’t score well. Remember, your first priority is to have fun!
