Bridge experience: Learned in college; my second hand was a grand slam that made with much help from the kibitzers. Have been playing competitive bridge since 1979. Currently a Sapphire LM. Most memorable hand was when I held Kx,-,AKxxxxxxxxx,- and laid down the world’s best dummy at 7D, which made on the opening lead. Most memorable event was playing in the Spingold circa 1998 against the Schwartz team. We faced Cohen and Berkowitz in the first quarter, who moved to the other table for the 2nd quarter. My partner and I were not relieved when Michael Rosenberg and Zia sat down at our table. We kept it close for the first half.
Volunteer service: A unit board member since 1997. A district board member since 2004. An ACBL Board of Governor’s member since 2007. Past President of unit and Past President of district.
Other: Served on committee for large bicycle touring events and also smaller biking events for the local club.
Career/professional activities: Worked as a software performance analyst and later in software quality assurance at IBM..

Bridge experience: Played in clubs and a few tournaments from 1980 to 1985 after learning in college in the early 60’s. Got back to club/tournament play in early part of 2,000s. Favorite memory-winning our district flight B GNT in a 56 final board match and winning by 1 imp.
Volunteer service: Bridge-District Board since 2011; District Treasurer since 2013; District President 2014 & 2015; along with my wife Nance and help from our local unit, created and managed the Palm Springs NLM Regional in 2015 and 2016, managed the Palm Springs Regional in 2015 and 2016. Non Bridge-volunteer pilot for LIGA, Doctors of Mercy, flying doctors, nurses, other volunteers and medical supplies into Mexican township to provide basic medical care to thousands of non insured Mexicans; WBC (Los Angeles childrens fundraising group), Vail Jazz Festival (supports youth musical achievements).
Career/professional activities: Career-founder of an office furniture dealership in Southern California; CPA; CFO for a regional public company; Contract CFO, CEO for a variety of companies.
Education: BS UCLA,1965; alumni UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Hobbies and interests: Fishing, flying, golf, travel.
Family: Nance, 4 kids, 2 grandkids.

Bridge experience: Learned bridge in 1974. ACBL Master of year 1977. Won World Bridge Production Pairs (2009), represented USA or Argentina in 6 WBF World Championships (no top 4 finishes). 12,000 ACBL masterpoints.
Volunteer service: Editor/Moderator of D23 Newsletter column of expert bidding problems (similar to Master Solver’s column). Coach of two national champion college bridge teams (UCLA 2008 and Caltech 2009). Coach of youth baseball, softball, hockey and soccer teams. Volunteer work for Church of Christ.
Other: Softball Coach (Elizabeth Learning Center), California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Softball champions in 2009 (received CIF Coach of Year award).
Career/professional activities: Wrote Logical Reasoning Exams for Hollywood Screen Directors Guild, Lead baseball handicapper for Dimeline Sports, rocket/satellite guidance programmer for Logicon Inc., taught math (mostly statistics) in Los Angeles Unified high schools.
Education: BA University of Southern (Math/Political Science), Masters California State University Dominguez Hills (Education Administration).
Hobbies and interests: Fantasy Sports (mostly simulation baseball). River rafting. Statistician for Team Reynolds Online Bridge (evaluating potential cheats from an analytical/mathematical viewpoint).
Family: Divorced. Non-bridge playing family include sister (USA), brother (France), 1 niece and 5 nephews. The love of my life is an awesome nine-year-old cattle dog, George.

Bridge experience: Began playing when I was 6 since my father and brothers needed a 4th. Played regularly in New York since the late 90’s. Highlight were wins in the Goldman Pairs and Von Zedtwitz teams.
Volunteer service: GNYBA tournament Chair in early 2000’s. GNYBA President 2017-2019.
Other: Business consultant for various United Jewish Appeal agencies.
Career/professional activities: Worked for 30+ years in financial services primarily as consultant and IT business and project manager.
Education: BA and MBA Columbia University.
Hobbies and interests: Sadly, I still live and grieve based on the fate of the Chicago Cubs.

Bridge experience: I played bridge with my Mother when I was young, I started playing bridge again online in 2004 and became a Life Master in 2007, I went to my first club and tournament in 2004 and have been a regular player since.
Volunteer service: I have been ACBL District 25 President, Unit 108 President, Webmaster, & headed many committees along the way. My wife and I volunteer at the Emmaus Homeless shelter whenever needed.
Other: ABTA Member and I teach bridge locally. I own a small bridge club and serve as a club director.
Career/professional activities: I work in Information Technology, I own a small company, we are Microsoft Cloud Solution Specialists, Veeam CSP, Website development and have our own private cloud and Azure.
Education: Boston College School of Education, MSP (Microsoft Certified Partner), CNE (Novell Engineer)
Hobbies and interests: Bridge, Boating, and Camping. We are a sports loving family and watch football and baseball.
