Ed Piken of Palos Verdes CA and Steve Cohen of Las Vegas won the four-session 0-10,000 IMP Pairs by 11.67 IMPs over runners-up Tony Barre of Marco Island FL and Dan Dalpe of Fort Myers FL.

This is the second limited NABC title for Piken who won the Grand National Teams Flight A in 2012. He was second in in the NABC 0-10,000 Pairs in 2015.

Cohen has previously been second in four open NABC events: the Jacoby Open Swiss Teams in 1982 and 1985, and the Keohane North American Swiss Teams in 1987 and 2003.

The winners play toghether infrequently, but “always seem to finish in the top 10,” according to Piken.

Piken and Cohen’s total was 89.43 IMPs, while Barre and Dalpe finished with 77.76.
