Introducing a New Way to Find a Tournament
The ACBL recently rolled out a new ‘Find a Tournament’ search function that makes it easier than ever to find a tournament. Instead of only being able to search for tournaments by month and category separately, you can now filter your search results to be as broad or as narrow as you want.
For example, you can search specifically for all of the tournaments taking place in a particular month by selecting the month (e.g. April) from the drop down menu and clicking on the “Search” button:

Or search for just the regional tournaments in a particular month by choosing “Regional” from the category menu:

Or all of the tournaments in a particular state during a particular month:

Can’t remember just when that sectional is coming up in your hometown? Now you can search by city for the whole year:

And once you find the tournament you’re looking for, click on “Information” to get all the details about that tournament (if you want to see what happened at a tournament that is over, just click on “Results”):

If you’re only interested in specific events, you can even filter within each tournament to find those by choosing from the drop down menus for “Event Type” “MP Limits” and even “Start Time”:

We hope you will find this new tool as useful and exciting as we do, but we know that it may take some adjustment, so if you encounter any problems using the new search functions, please send an e-mail to christina.vanleeuwen@acbl.org.
