Marshall Miles 1926 - 2013
Marshall Miles, a member of the ACBL Bridge Hall of Fame and a regular contributor to the Bridge Bulletin for decades, died of a heart attack on Tuesday, Feb. 5. The Redlands CA resident was 86.
Miles, a retired attorney, won seven North American championships and was second in five others. He was a member of the winning squad in the Senior Teams at the World Bridge Games in Istanbul, Turkey, in 2004.
He wrote nearly a dozen books, including the classic All Fifty-Two Cards and Modern Constructive Bidding (2005).
