Hal Keller 1927 - 2012

Hal Keller, former general manager of the Seattle Mariners and an ACBL Member for more than six decades, died of cancer at his home in Sequim WA. He was 84.

Keller is credited with introducing the radar gun to baseball during his tenure as an executive with the Texas Rangers baseball team. The gun is used in baseball to measure the speed of pitches.

Although inactive in recent years, Keller was a Gold Life Master with more than 4300 masterpoints to his credit.
