Nickell, Diamond Lead USBC Semis

At halftime in the semifinal round of the U.S. Bridge Championship, the squads led by Nick Nickell and John Diamond are comfortably ahead of their respective opponents.

Nickell leads Reese Milner’s team 188-107 after 90 boards of play, while Diamond is far ahead of Roger Lee’s squad 192-78.

The winners of each match will face each other in the final that begins on Saturday, May 5, for the right to represent the United States in the bridge competition of the 2nd World Mind Sports Games. The contest will take place Aug. 9-23 in Lille, France.
