As their ACBL Bulletin arrives each month, many readers eagerly turn first to George Jacob’s column, “George’s World.” For those who think that bridge is dry and without humor – you must read George.
At the table? Even better!
Last night, I wandered into the evening Open Pairs. There, I found George, partnered with the illustrious Noberto Bocci. In tow were George’s lovely wife Stacy and Bridge teacher and author Bruce Greenspan. Grabbing a chair, I joined the traveling circus.
For all of George and Norberto’s opponents who put up with the festivities – thanks for being such good sports. Of course, in George’s world, bridge without antics simply doesn’t happen!
