Thank You, Thank You Very Much

It took eighteen months and hundreds of hours of work, but Unit 183 (Fort Worth TX area) reached its goal. We found a new clubhouse, oversaw the renovations, moved the old studio to the new, and never missed a bridge game.
An Elvis impersonator entertained for us at our Grand Opening on June 20, and received a standing ovation. It’s not reported how he did in the bridge game that followed.
Food overflowed and so did the players – we had 35 tables. Although the Board of Directors and other players helped through the whole process, the majority of the work was done by Diane Washabaugh to whom the Unit owes an abundance of thanks. We’ve found a new home where we hope to stay for many years.
