Senior Trials Under Way

Ten teams began play on Monday in the Senior Trials conducted by the United States Bridge Federation. The winning team will play in the Senior Bowl at the World Mind Sports Games in Beijing, China, starting Oct. 3.

The format calls for a complete round-robin on Monday, the top eight teams advancing to the knockout phase. The tournament will end on Thursday. It is being played in Sturbridge MA concurrent with the New England Summer Regional.
