Open, Women's Trials In Progress

The United States Bridge Championship and the United States Women's Bridge Championship are in progress in Schaumberg IL, near Chicago. The USWBC is in the final stage, with teams captained by Hansa Narasimhan and Kathleen Sulgrove playing for the first spot in the Venice Cup at the World Bridge Championships in Shanghai, China, this fall. The semifinal losers (Lynn Baker and Shawn Quinn) will play off for a chance to facer the losing finalist. The winner of that match will be the second team for the Venice Cup in Shanghai. The USBC is in the round of 16.
