ANHEUSER-BUSCH BREWERY TOUR

        Experience how fresh beer is brewed. Follow the making of Budweiser from all natural ingredients to the refreshing brew loved across the globe. See first hand the brewing process and marvel at the state-of-the art facilities, brewhouses, beechwood aging cellars. You’ll marvel at the historic Brew House where you’ll see the copper kettles, wall murals, ornate wrought-iron railings, and hop vine chandeliers.

        This brewery is home to one of three traveling Budweiser Clydesdales teams. The century old stables, featuring stain glass windows and a massive chandelier house an eight horse hitch and a beer wagon weighing four tons. The tour continues through the Bevo Packaging Plant, where high-speed bottling and canning lines can be viewed.

        And finally, many visitors’ favorite stop - the Hospitality Room - to enjoy a complimentary tasting of the finest beers and a moment ti browse through the gift shops.

        Then it’s on to FOREST PARK.. In 1904, the St. Louis World’s Fair drew more than 20 million visitors from around the world to Forest Park. Today it is home to the region’s major cultural institutions - the Zoo, Art Museum, History Museum, Science Center, and the Muny Opera. Forest Park is also the home of the Jewel Box, Skating Rink, Boathouse, Golf Course, Tennis Center, and Turtle Playground.

ST. LOUIS CITY TOUR

  • ENJOY A PRIVATE, GUIDED 3 ½ HOUR TOUR OF ST. LOUIS, FEATURING TWO STOPS

        You begin at LACLEDE’S LANDING, a nine block industrial area that once housed companies producing coffee, leather goods, mattresses, tobacco, whiskey, candy, and machinery for the barges, and now features some of the most unique restaurants and sidewalk cafes in St. Louis.

        Next you will visit the famous GATEWAY ARCH, a stainless steel structure that towers over 60 stories tall, completed in 1968. It is the nation’s tallest national monument. With a tour to the top included, you’ll get a stunning glimpse of the St. Louis region from a dizzying height of 630 feet. Next visit the Museum of Westward Expansion where you can view rare Indian Peace Medals and weapons of survival, an actual teepee, and Sioux war bonnet, and walk through time with Lewis and Clark.

        Then you’ll drive through the historic SOULARD AND LAFAYETTE SQUARE neighborhoods, both national historic districts. The SOULARD area feature beautifully restored 19th century red brick Victorian and Federal - style townhouses, and is home to one of the largest MardiGras celebrations outside New Orleans. It’s also home to the Soulard Farmer’s Market, one of the oldest public markets still in existence in the United States.

        You will pass by the Anheuser Busch brewery on your way to LAFAYETTE SQUARE, St. Louis’s oldest historic district. Victorian mansions, townhouses, and row houses display architectural styles from th Civil War through the turn of the century.

        Your second stop is at the CATHEDRAL BASILICA OF ST. LOUIS. Archbishop John Glennon began the building of the Cathedral in 1907. Its unique design combines architecture of Romanesque style on the exterior with a wondrous Byzantine-style interior. The cathedral is the home of the largest mosiac collection in the world.

        On your ride home down Market Street you will pass UNION STATION, a former passenger train terminal that has been restored into a shopping center and entertainment complex.
