Parking

Sheraton Nashville Downtown:
            Self parking:                 $10 daily
            Valet parking:               $15 daily

Courtyard by Marriott Downtown:
            Valet parking only:       $15 daily

Renaissance Nashville:
            On-site self parking:   $6 daily
            Valet parking:             $23 daily (there is a discount for ACBL members)

Shuttle buses from the Courtyard and the Sheraton:
            Shuttle buses will run continuously from the Courtyard and Sheraton from 8:00
            a.m. until 1:00 a.m. 

Dinner Shuttle:
            A passenger van will be running from 4:00 p.m. until approximately 7:30 that will transport             members to restaurant areas. 

Downtown Nashville is in a period of extensive redevelopment.  Because of this, many older buildings have been torn down which has created a lot of surface parking at relatively cheap prices.  Access is easy and many of these parking options are within a close walk of the convention center.  Choose amoung multiple parking options:

   1. Use this link to view an interactive map of downtown Nashville that can let you see the self-parking options within walking distance of the convention center. Roll your cursor over each parking facility, and a pop-up will show you the current rates.
      
      1. Most convenient is the covered parking that is attached by walkway to the Renaisance.  However, this facility also serves the main library, and because of this is often closed down to reserve space for library patrons.  But, if you are lucky enough to get there at the right time, the cost is $5 per day.
      2. Best surface parking is to the northwest of the convention center (generally toward 8th & Church).  Only 2 or 3 blocks away are several surface lots that are currently $4 daily rates.

   1. If you prefer to avoid driving into downtown, you can park at the LP Field (the Titans football stadium).  This link provides a map and other details. 
   2. General Information
      1. IMPORTANT, this service is available all days of the tournament except
         1. Sunday, 22nd
         2. Saturday, 28th
         3. Sunday, 29th
      2. Exit 85 from I-24, then Interstate Drive to Russell (one block)
      3. Lot A  (free parking)
      4. You do NOT have to pre-register.  Upon your first arrival, check with the security guard / lot attendant.  He will have a pass for bridge players, which you will need to leave displayed in your vehicle.
      5. Bright yellow busses run continuously from 7am to 7:30 pm (Look for LP Field on the electronic display of the bus.)
         1. Cost is $1 each way
         2. 10 minute intervals at peak (7 am to 9 am & 4 pm to 6 pm)
         3. 20 minute intervals at other times
         4. Shuttle route is being modified during the tournament to provide a stop at the convention center.
      6. Ad hoc shuttle service available until midnight
      7. In the unlikely event lot A should become full, there is an overflow lot available at the nominal cost of $1
