Travel Options
"Dallas Love Field" Airport is Southwest Airlines only Airport.
It is close to the downtown area. Except for limousine services, the
transportation costs are significantly less than from the main airport.
There
are four ways to travel from/to the main airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International
Airport to/from Dallas downtown hotels:
- Shuttle Service - We have arranged a special rate with Yellow Checker Shuttle. $12 one-way with coupon plus gas surcharge savings if booked and paid in advance (go to Yellow Checker Shuttle website from ACBL). We suggest allowing an hour and half for that mode of service.
- Taxicab Service - As of this writing, the rate for one or two passengers averages around $47. Add gratuity and $2 extra per additional passenger. Allow 30 to 45 minutes for the trip (20 plus miles).
- Sedan Service - (972-218-9900) We have arranged with Elite Limousine, a flat rate of $68 which includes gratuity up to four passengers. There are other dependable companies with comparable rates where the gratuity, airport fees and gas surcharges are not included.
- Stretch Limousine (972-218-9900) We have also arranged with Elite, a flat rate of $108. Will seat up to six passengers taking luggage into account. Again advanced reservations are required. Elite will greet you upon arrival with a sign in the baggage area.

A taxi to The Downtown Dallas Convention Hotels from
DFW Airport runs $41.60.
The cost of parking at most hotels runs from $12 to $18 per day.

The DART Rail System provides fast, convenient service to work, shopping
and entertainment destinations in Dallas, Garland, Plano and Richardson.
Plus, our TRE commuter line links DART customers to DFW International
Airport and downtown Fort Worth(only an hour away by TRE). Free parking
is available at most rail stations, and all are served by DART bus routes
specially timed to make transfers between buses and trains quick and
easy.
