Reservations for the Chicago NABC are now open. The host hotel and playing site is the Hyatt Regency Chicago. The room rate is $139.00 (1-4 people) plus taxes. Hotel Blake (312-986-1234) has rooms during the NABC except for the nights of July 15 and July 21. The rate is $169.00. You must identify yourself as a bridge player in order to get the $169.00 rate.

The Talbott, Delaware and Michigan, (12
blocks from the Hyatt) has rooms for $209/$229.
The Fairfield Inn (a
Marriott Hotel), Ontario and Michigan, (six blocks from the Hyatt) has rooms
for $169.
The rates listed for the Talbott and the Fairfield Inn are currently lower than
they were on April 16!
As of April 16, the following list of hotels showed availability throughout the NABC. Please note hotel availability and rates are subject to change daily. Other hotels may be available if you're planning a shorter stay. Check back for updates!
The Seneca Hotel, 200 East Chestnut, has rooms for $184.
The Talbott, Delaware and Michigan, has rooms for $231.
The House of Blues Hotel, Dearborn and Wacker, has rooms for $168.
The Omni, North Michigan, has rooms for $259.
The Wyndham, St. Clair, has rooms for $248.
The Fairfield Inn, (a Marriott Hotel), Ontario and Michigan, has rooms for $179.
The Hotel Monaco, is a very nice European style boutique hotel only a couple blocks from the Hyatt, has rooms for $229.
The Silversmith, another boutique hotel at Wabash and Madison, has rooms for $207.
All of these hotels are within one mile of the Hyatt. Shared cab rides would be very inexpensive from these sites to the playing site.
The closest hotel showing availability to the playing site is the Swissotel. It is right across the street from the Hyatt. The rate that shows up on Orbitz is $288 per night.
