We are contacting you because you are a registered MyACBL user and a security matter involving some member information has recently come to our attention.

Some of you may have noticed that the ability to change passwords was temporarily disrupted. This action was taken to allow us to work on implementing a new and more comprehensive security system for MyACBL designed to provide improved protection for member information.

The change in systems will require you to create a new password and choose three security questions to be used to identify you. These security questions will be used both online and for phone conversations with the ACBL. You will be required to choose a more complex password with a mixture of upper and lower case letters, numbers and punctuation.

The passwords will always be encrypted and will not be available to ACBL staff.

Please look for a future email with further instructions on how to recreate a password and provide security questions and answers.

Should any of your other accounts (such as financial institutions) have the same password as your MyACBL account, we recommend you change those as well. For the best information security, you should always vary your password among websites.
