The Collegiate Bridgebowl is a tournament developed for college students to play bridge competitively with an opportunity claim scholarships from the $20,000 pool. $12,000 is allocated for first place and $8,000 for second. The funds will be disbursed evenly amongst team members.

2016/2017 Participation

Any number of teams from a college or university in North America may enter the Qualifying Events, which will be held in October 2016 and February 2017. Eligible students must be currently enrolled at the start of the qualifying event in which they play and be born no earlier than January 1, 1992.
Each team must consist of four to six players from the same college.

Finals

Each of the qualifying teams will be invited to Toronto, Ontario to compete in the finals.
Each participant receives:

  • Economy round-trip airfare (up to $500 to Toronto)
  • Lodging for three nights, double occupancy
  • Expense supplement for meals

The four-session final will be held in Toronto ON, on Saturday, July 22 and Sunday, July 23 at 1 and 7:30 pm.
