Club Directors Update Course

The ACBL no longer subsidizes the Club Director Update Course at regional tournaments. We have begun online club director education and will devote resources to developing this program. In a survey of club officials, the response was overwhelming for the ACBL to provide online club director education. A similar response favored online education for ACBLscore. The first course, ACBLscore for Beginners is available.

ONLINE COURSES NOW AVAILABLE

The ACBL has launched a major initiative to bring bridge education to current and future club directors – saving the time and expense of travel to director courses. Our first online course, ACBLscore for Beginners, shows how to install the program, set up club information, score club games and send electronic reports. It is available now for just $20. Once you register for ACBLscore for Beginners at http://lms.discoverlink.com/acbl/, you have 30 days to complete the course.

The second online course is Ruling the Game for $25. While designed particularly for club directors to polish their skills, the course also will benefit players looking for a better understanding of common rulings. Register for Ruling the Game at http://lms.discoverlink.com/acbl/.
